Dallas
After Dark. 🌃
Dallas is a city of skylines and style. Whether you want high-energy neon streets or a quiet garden walk, the city transforms when the sun goes down.
The Orb
Reunion Tower
"It is the defining feature of the skyline. The Geo-Deck offers a 360-degree view from 470 feet up. At night, when the sphere lights up, it feels like you are standing inside a constellation."
The Reunion View.
You can't talk about dating in Dallas without the ball. It’s iconic for a reason.
Sunset Strategy
Go 30 minutes before sunset. Watch the Texas sky turn purple and the city lights flicker on one by one.
Dallas Blooms. 🌷
The Dallas Arboretum is arguably the best botanical garden in the South. 66 acres of manicured perfection right on the lake.
Picnic Paradise
Unlike most gardens, they encourage picnics. Bring a basket, a bottle of wine, and find a spot on the lawn overlooking the lake.
Concerts in the Garden
"On Thursday nights in the spring and fall, the garden hosts tribute bands on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage. It’s the ultimate group date spot."
Old Money Charm
Est. 1931
"It’s the oldest open-air shopping center in America. With its Spanish architecture and tree-lined walkways, it feels less like a mall and more like a European village. It is the ultimate spot for 'window shopping' and people watching."
Highland Park.
If you want to dress up and feel fancy, this is the spot. It’s romantic year-round, but legendary during the holidays when the trees are wrapped in a million lights.
The "Mambo Taxi"
You don't have to buy Chanel to enjoy it. Go to Mi Cocina, order their famous Mambo Taxi margarita, and sit on the patio. It’s the quintessential Dallas date.
The Winspear
Opera House
"It’s unmistakable. The massive red glass drum glowing in the night. Even if you don't see a show, walking through the reflecting pool plaza at night is incredibly romantic."
High Drama.
Dallas has the largest contiguous urban arts district in the nation. It’s walkable, modern, and sleek.
DMA Late Nights
The Dallas Museum of Art is huge. Check their calendar for "Late Nights" where the museum stays open until midnight with music and performances.
Nasher Sculpture Center
An oasis in the city. The outdoor sculpture garden is quiet, enclosed by travertine walls, and feels miles away from the skyscrapers looming above.
The Urban Green. 🌳
Built over a freeway, this park literally bridged the gap between Uptown and Downtown. It is the city's front lawn.
Food Truck Lane
Every day from 11am-3pm. It’s the perfect low-pressure lunch date. Grab tacos and find a green table under the trees.
The Trolley
The vintage M-Line Trolley stops right here. It’s free, romantic, and takes you straight into the heart of Uptown.
Nancy Best Fountain
"At night, the massive fountain puts on a light and music show. Standing there with the illuminated skyline surrounding you is pure Dallas magic."
Neon Blues. 🎸
Deep Ellum is the gritty, artistic soul of Dallas. Founded in 1873, it was a hub for jazz and blues. Today, it’s a neon-soaked labyrinth of murals, rooftop bars, and concert venues.
The Bomb Factory & Trees
Catch a show at Trees (where Nirvana famously played). It’s intimate, loud, and pure rock n' roll history.
The Traveling Man
"Look for the giant metal robot sculptures towering over the neighborhood. They are the guardians of Deep Ellum and make for a perfect meet-up spot."
The Loud Crowd. 🏀
Whether it’s the Mavericks (NBA) or the Stars (NHL), the energy inside the American Airlines Center is electric. It’s a high-octane date for couples who love to cheer.
PNC Plaza
The plaza outside the arena is a party before the game even starts. Huge screens, music, and fans in jerseys creating a buzz you can feel.
Happiest Hour
Before tip-off, walk to "Happiest Hour"—Dallas's largest patio bar. The rooftop offers incredible views of the arena and the skyline.
Date Strategy
"Don't worry about parking. Take the DART train to Victory Station. It drops you off right at the front door and saves you $40, which you can spend on arena nachos instead."
Small Town Feel
Oak Cliff
"It feels like a movie set. Independent bookstores, vintage shops, and the smell of fresh pie wafting through the alleys. It’s the most walkable, intimate neighborhood in the city."
Bishop Arts.
Cross the river to find the soul of the city. There are no chains here—just over 60 independent boutiques and restaurants packed into two blocks.
The Wild Detectives
Bookstore Bar

Make Your Own Scent
Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge
"The massive white arch is 400 feet tall. Walking across the pedestrian bridge at sunset gives you the single best angle of the Dallas skyline."
The Patio Scene.
Trinity Groves is a restaurant incubator located at the foot of the bridge. Almost every spot has a massive patio facing the city.
Date Night Strategy
Start with a walk across the bridge (it takes about 20 mins). Then settle in at Saint Rocco's or Betn & Sissy's for drinks with a view that costs a million bucks.
